Questions
What counts as an installation?
One physical production site — the unit the Communication Template is filled in for. A company with two factories has two installations. An installation is identified by its name and country as entered in step 1; downloading again for the same installation never uses another place.
Can I use one code for several companies?
Not with Single report or Annual — each covers one installation. If you prepare files for several producers, choose Agent 10 or Agent 30. On Agent plans the count starts again each subscription year.
How do you count installations without seeing my data?
Your browser sends us a one-way fingerprint of the installation name and country, mixed with your access code. We never receive the name, the address or any production figure. See the Privacy Policy.
What happens when the EU updates the rules?
The Commission corrects default values and publishes new templates from time to time. We update the calculator when it does. Annual and Agent subscribers can regenerate their files against the updated rules at no extra cost; a Single report reflects the rules on the day it was generated.
Do I get a VAT invoice?
Yes. Paddle issues the invoice and handles VAT, including reverse charge for businesses with a valid VAT number.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — a full refund of any payment within 14 days, for any reason. See the Refund Policy.
Is my production data uploaded?
No. Every calculation and file runs in your browser. Paying does not change that: the payment only unlocks the exact figures and the files. Your production volumes, fuels and emissions never reach our servers.
